Naidu granted interim bail for cataract surgery

Vijayawada After a protracted legal battle, former chief minister and TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday got interim bail by the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
Though it is a conditional bail, the High Court has set normal conditions like submitting sureties, providing the doctor report to the jail superintendent while surrendering et al. “They are all routine conditions,” TDP stated in a statement.
Pronouncing the orders, Justice T Mallikarjuna Rao granted interim bail till November 28 for his treatment including cataract surgery. The interim bail is subject to certain conditions. Naidu has been directed to submit a surety of Rs 1 lakh. The court asked him not to influence anyone related to the case and surrender on November 29.
